 Bastille Day 2016

Bastille Day …it’s this Friday !!!!

A reminder that our Bastille Day celebrations are this Friday. We have planned a huge day of celebrations and activities for the whole school and will treat all students to a morning tea of croissant and chocolate eclairs. Year 6, 7, 8 and 9 students and Senior French students will also have lunch provided.

You need to get your costumes ready as there are fantastic prizes for groups and individuals. Costumes can be a reflection of some aspect of history or culture or an imaginative combination of the French colours. You can even come dressed as a famous French personality or a famous French product…cheese, perfume, food. ….Can’t wait to see all of your amazing creations.

We are hoping to have the school dressed up as a mark of respect for all those who have suffered as a result of the tragedies that have befallen France during recent times.

If your child is in years 6 to 9 or a Senior student of French and can help out with donations of quiche or garlic bread, this would be greatly appreciated. Please deliver these items to the Senior hospitality rooms on Friday morning.

Happy Bastille Day celebrations for Friday,

Loretta Swann- Director – Humaniites/Arts/LOTE
