When the results were compared to those of two other district competitions in the Central Queensland region, the Xavier teams were 13th & 14th of 29 in total.

The effort of the students was especially commendable, as we were able to arrange practice-sessions only in the previous fortnight, and despite having three of the five first-breaks available for training in each week there were so many other events and meetings on that not once were we able to have a full-team practice, nor a full practice. Then two students were selected to attend a district competition in other activities, so Jared and Leorah stepped in at short notice and with very limited practice.

Term 3 is particularly busy for Seniors as they are very loaded with commitments to study and assignments; their enthusiastic volunteering was commendable.
