The Xavier choral program consists of
two choirs – a Junior Choir (years 3-7) and a Senior Choir (years 8-12). The
choirs have weekly rehearsals and sing a wide variety of repertoire which
includes contemporary, jazz, classical and spiritual pieces. Each year the
choirs have a hectic performance schedule, singing in a variety of school and
community events. These include the Maryborough Eisteddfod, The Queensland
Catholic Schools Music Festival, singing at local nursing homes, school
assemblies and liturgies.
